Description

This course is designed as a Lecture/Demonstration for work and community groups who would like an introduction or basic refresher on first aid knowledge. It covers common injuries and illnesses that can occur in everyday life. The course combines both theory and practical demonstrations, including the recovery position, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and fracture management.

The Lecture/Demonstration provides a good foundation on which to build further first aid knowledge and skills. This course allows for any number of participants to attend, there is no maximum.

This course is offered as an on-site option. If you are unable to provide a suitable venue, your group is welcome to use a St John WA training centre.

St John WA recommends that you refresh your first aid training every 12 months. This is also in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines that state CPR skills should be refreshed annually.
